Want the ultimate afternoon pick me up without the jitters or crash?

Try this Matcha Rose Latte. This rich, creamy, earthy, and slightly floral drink is jammed packed with some amazing benefits!

This image shows a iced matcha latte with a foam swirl on top showing the differentiation between the matcha which is green, the vanilla milk which is white, and the rose milk which is pink.

Before we jump into the recipe, let's talk medicinal properties of this drink.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES:

The matcha provides caffeine to boost brain power. It also contains L-theanine, an amino acid known to promote relaxation by lowering stress and anxiety levels.

Rose acts as a subtle but comforting nervine which is a type of herb that is used to nourish and support the central nervous system. It is calming, helps bring balance, and uplifts the mood. It's also known for its antidepressant properties helping ease depression, anxiety, grief, and irritability. It may also help relieve exhaustion and insomnia for some.

Beet adds more depth to the pink color while also providing a little bit of nitric oxide which helps increase blood flow and improve the distribution of oxygen throughout the body. It helps fights inflammation, improve digestive health, can help keep your blood pressure stabilized, and improve athletic performance.

Local raw honey is great for supporting seasonal allergies, strengthening the immune system, is antioxidant rich, antibacterial, helps digestion, and more.

If you're not already convinced, go ahead and try this recipe for yourself, and note how you feel after. Enjoy!
