What is your circadian rhythm and why is it important?

Your circadian rhythm is an internal clock that determines when you are awake and when you are asleep. When we follow the schedule of light and dark that naturally occurs in nature you'll find that your circadian rhythm is better kept on track. So many things now affect our natural circadian rhythm which can in turn affect the quality of our sleep and rest. Things like schedule, stress, blue light exposure, lack of time out doors and caffeine are a few things that can affect your internal clock.

5 Tips For Better Sleep

Tip 1:
Get 2-5 minutes of direct sunlight first thing every morning.

Physical activity or light stretching throughout the day will help improve your sleep.

Reduce or totally turn off blue light 1-2 hours before bed. When you are using blue light through out the day, be sure to use blue light blocker glasses.

Tip 4:
